Join the Solid Starts team for four weeks of live training, backed by research and the experts who've guided millions of families through solids — so you can raise a child who tries everything, fears nothing, and finds joy in every meal.

Perfect for
First-time parents preparing to start solids and wanting to give their baby the best start
Been-here-before parents who want to do things differently this time around or are looking for a refresher
Grandparents and caregivers who want to support the parents in their lives and understand current, modern approaches to introducing solids
Parents who started on purees and are ready to transition to more textured foods
You've done all the research. So why don't you feel ready to start?
I've read everything — and I still don't feel ready to put food in front of my baby.
That's because readiness doesn't come from reading. It comes from having someone walk alongside you — answering your specific questions as it's actually happening.

My baby gagged the first time I gave them solids — now I'm too scared to try again.
Gagging is normal. Choking is rare. But without knowing the difference, every mealtime feels like a crisis waiting to happen.
My baby is on purees but I feel like we need to start real solids before it's too late.
The window feels like it's closing and the pressure is real. You don't need to panic — you need a plan.
My baby is in the magic window but won't put anything in their mouth.
You're doing everything you're supposed to, and it's still not clicking. There are reasons — and solutions.
I just don't know where to start — I'm completely overwhelmed.
Every parent group adds more noise. Overwhelm isn't a you problem — it's an information-without-guidance problem.
You've followed us on Instagram and done all the research but you still don’t feel ready because information alone was never going to be enough. You need real guidance, live accountability, and the reassurance of a pediatric feeding expert who can look at your baby and tell you you're on the right track.
That's exactly what this program is.
This program
is for you if…

Your baby is 4–6 months and you're approaching the starting-solids magic window
The fear of choking is keeping you from starting — or from enjoying it
You want to introduce allergens safely — and "safely" shouldn't mean sitting in a hospital parking lot just in case
You've introduced an allergen but aren't sure how to keep up regular exposure
You want to feed your baby in a way that feels right for you — whether that's BLW, purees, or somewhere in between
You've done the research and still feel like you're missing something
You're overwhelmed by the mental load of introducing solids on top of everything else new parenthood asks of you
You're a Solid Starts follower who wants real-time, expert-led support
This is NOT for you if…
Your baby has complex medical or feeding needs that require specialist clinical intervention
Your baby is under 4 months and not yet approaching the readiness window
Your baby is already confidently eating a wide variety of textures and self-feeding
Joyful mealtimes, curious eaters,
and memories made at the table.
What you can expect after completing this program.
You sit down to meals without fear
You know what gagging looks like, how to prepare every food safely, and exactly what to do if you need to act.
You've given your baby their first foods
Not just thinking about it — actually done it. You know exactly what foods you want to serve your baby and how to offer them.
Allergens are introduced — with a plan
You know exactly how to introduce allergens and maintain regular allergen exposure going forward.
You're raising a curious, adventurous eater
You understand textures, flavors, and how to build on the momentum — and you know how to respond if challenges arise, with a strong foundation that carries your family well beyond these first bites.
Meet Kary & Kim —
your pediatric pros.

Their clinical expertise spans the full spectrum of infant and child feeding including deep, specialized knowledge of food refusal at every age and stage. When Kary and Kim are in the room, you're in the best possible hands.
This training isn't a course you watch alone at 11pm. It's live, it's personal, and they're there with you every step of the way.

The advice has been invaluable in coaching me on how to offer food safely with love. My little boy turned one last week and I’m thrilled to say is a vigorous eater, but almost more importantly, we are a happy eating family - meal times are our favorite part of the day!
— Rachel
There is a LOT of baby led weaning information out there and Solid Starts has been the one that makes me feel confident and comfortable in feeding my child.
— Brenna
The other week our baby had his first allergic reaction and it would have been far more chaos, fear, and uncertainty had it not been for YOU and your incredible resources. I knew to undress him so I could monitor if it was spreading, thanks to you. I knew it was an allergic reaction vs acidic reaction, thanks to you. And I knew where I could go for more info, thanks to you.
— Rebecca
When it came time to start solids, I felt confident, I felt informed, and I was able to politely decline the many suggestions that my baby needed rice cereal, choosing instead to introduce her straight away to the foods we already enjoy as a family.
— Natalie
You have shown me that babies love to eat when given the chance. My baby has grown beautifully and (though sometimes refusing some foods) she has a good relationship with food and enjoy meal times.
— Jessica
I cannot even begin to tell you how invaluable Solid Starts has been to us as we have continued introducing new foods to our 13 month old. We are constantly getting compliments as to how good of an eater he is!
— Kim
Thanks for teaching me the signs to watch for after introducing allergens. I was very methodical about when and how we did it and was able to spot the signs of a reaction and confidently get him to the ER right away.
— Shanna

Frequently asked questions.
When are the calls? What if I can't make it live?
All live sessions are recorded and available within 24 hours. The cohort kicks off June 3rd, 2026 and occur each Wednesday at 9AM PST/12PM EST.
My baby is 5 months and not quite ready — should I still enroll?
Absolutely. Week 1 is specifically designed to help you assess readiness and support your baby in getting there. Many parents begin the training slightly before their baby is fully ready, and by Week 2 they're right on track.
We don't know if we want to start with BLW or purees yet — is this still right for us?
Yes — this is exactly who this program was built for. Kary and Kim cover BLW, traditional purees, and the combination approach in depth. You'll leave with the knowledge to choose confidently and flex between methods as your baby grows.
What will be covered in the check in sessions?
Update us with your progress and get help with any troubleshooting. We'll cover common scenarios we see around the 8 month and 12 month ages and strategies to help you best prepare for them.
What is the weekly video submission included in the Complete program?
Bring us into your mealtimes by submitting up to three videos per week for Kim and Kary to review and give recommendations based on your baby's progress.
What is the private community access in the Complete program?
You will have access to a chat with other families in the program along with pediatric feeding professionals on the Solid Starts team to get answers to your feeding questions that come up as you are introducing foods.
Is there a payment plan available?
Yes. The Complete Program is available as 4 payments of $260 (pre-sale), spread over the program. Payment plans are processed automatically — just select the option at checkout.

You have a schedule, a checklist, and the calm to follow it. You know exactly how to maintain regular allergen exposure going forward.
You're raising a curious, adventurous eater
You understand textures, flavors, and how to build on the momentum — and you know how to respond if challenges arise, with a strong foundation that carries your family well beyond these first bites.

— Brenna
— Shanna
The other week our baby had his first allergic reaction and it would have been far more chaos, fear, and uncertainty had it not been for YOU and your incredible resources. I knew to undress him so I could monitor if it was spreading, thanks to you. I knew it was an allergic reaction vs acidic reaction, thanks to you. And I knew where I could go for more info, thanks to you.

Join the Solid Starts team for four weeks of live training, backed by research and the experts who've guided millions of families through solids — so you can raise a child who tries everything, fears nothing, and finds joy in every meal.

As Seen In
Perfect for
First-time parents preparing to start solids and wanting to give their baby the best start

My baby is in the magic window but won't put anything in their mouth.
You're doing everything you're supposed to, and it's still not clicking. There are reasons — and solutions.
My baby is on purees but I feel like we need to start real solids before it's too late.
The window feels like it's closing and the pressure is real. You don't need to panic — you need a plan.
I just don't know where to start — I'm completely overwhelmed.
Every parent group adds more noise. Overwhelm isn't a you problem — it's an information-without-guidance problem.
You've followed us on Instagram, read every article, downloaded every guide. And you still don't feel ready — because information alone was never going to be enough. You need real guidance, live accountability, and the reassurance of a pediatric expert who can look at your baby and tell you you're on the right track.
That's exactly what this program is.
This program is for you if…
Your baby is 4–6 months and you're approaching the starting-solids magic window
